Ana Celia de Armas Caso was born in Cuba and brought up to Spanish parents. Her career began in Cuba in the role of Una Rosa de France. At the age of 18, she moved into Madrid, Spain, and played in the cult drama El Internado for six seasons from 2007 to 2010. Then, following the move to Los Angeles de Armas landed English speaking roles in the psychological horror Knock Knock (2014) and the comedy crime film War Dogs (2017). She became famous for her role as Blade the Runner (2017) as the holographic AI Joi. Ana de Armas was Ben Affleck's lover before he wed Jennifer Lopez. Affleck as well as Ana de Armas were together for a little over one year following the fact that they worked on Deep Water. Ana de Armas received an increase of attention while she dated Ben Affleck. However, it wasn't the sort of recognition that one would have hoped for. The show will continue on with Ballerina, an upcoming spinoff that stars Ana de Armas as Rooney the killer, who gets a small cameo within John Wick: Chapter 3 -the movie Parabellum (where she was performed by Unity Phelan).
